A list of the twenty most viewed movie trailers on Youtube was released today. The reseach was conducted by Zefr, a youtube data and marketing company. The list is as follows:

1) Fifty Shades of Grey , 93m views
2) Star Wars: Episode VII- The Force Awakens, 81m views
3) Avengers: Age of Ultron, 78m views
4) Jurassic World, 64m views
5) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, 58m views
6) Furious 7, 57.5m Views
7) Minions 54m views
8) The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, 45m views

10) Interstellar, 39m views
11) The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 1 trailer #1, 38m views
12) Transformers: Age of Extinction, 37m views

18) The Hunger Games: Mockingjay- Part 1 teaser trailer, 27m views
19) Mad Max: Fury Road, 26m views
20) Pitch Perfect 2, 25.8m views

Universal leads with five in the top ten. Paramount fills three more spots in the top ten. Disney with two and Warner Bros. with one make up the rest of the top ten.

Star Wars had the best start with 58.2 million in its first five days but that was not enough to catch Fifty Shades's four month head start. Jurassic World also had a great start with 53.9 million views within its first week.

No one can be too surprised about this list. All the big blockbusters are there. Heck, Hunger Games shows up twice. I do wish the star wars or Avengers got more views to top Fifty Shades, but it is what it is. The main should be that we got a lot of great trailers this year.

Here's to hoping 2015 can be another great year in movie trailers.
